ROCAN continues to grow with the addition of Valentin Hanke as an associate.

We are delighted that Valentin has joined our team as an associate following his traineeship stage at ROCAN. Valentin advises clients on all aspects of German and European antitrust law and German investment control. Valentin advises clients on all aspects of German and European competition law as well as German foreign investment control. His practice focuses on merger control, antitrust compliance, advising on horizontal cooperations, and issues of vertical restraints. He also supports clients in cartel investigations and antitrust damages proceedings and advises on matters of abuse of dominance. He represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission, and before German and European courts.

Valentin obtained an LL.M. degree in European Competition Law from the University of Amsterdam. During his legal traineeship, he inter alia worked in competition law at the German Federal Cartel Office and an large international law firm.
